Pamela holds a Master's degree in Christian Counselling with a major in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Pamela has completed a two-year supervised internship in a private practice setting and has worked as a Client Care Counsellor for Telus Health, where she provided crisis intervention and short-term counselling for individuals, couples, and families aged 18 and older.
Pamela has extensive experience working with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, post-traumatic stress, substance use, relationship challenges, life transitions, and workplace stress (especially with first responders).
She uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Integrative Behavioural Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy. Pamela takes a strength-based, collaborative approach to help clients set goals, develop customized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, and engage in creative, interactive exercises and assignments to enhance their progress.
