At The Family Enhancement Centre, our Therapists are specifically trained to work with teens and have years of experience working with them. Our first goal is to put you at ease and make sure this is a good experience for you. Teens come to counselling for a variety of reasons.
No reason is too big nor too small. We are here to hear you and support you!
Having a third party as an objective listener can make discussing difficult issues a lot easier. Our Therapists are there to help you explore what you’re going through and how you feel about it. Their main goal is to listen to you and help you figure out what you want, and then they help to empower you to make good decisions.
The Family Enhancement Centre has many therapists who specifically work with youth and are skilled at quickly putting you at ease and making each session a positive experience.
Did you know that therapy has been proven to help decrease anxiety and ‘out of control’ feelings, bring a sense of relief and motivation, help you begin to regain a sense of hope and direction.
